We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Service delivery and account management — to provide you with access to Scout Gap, manage your account, and deliver opportunity briefs to you.
• Billing and subscription management — to process payments, manage your subscription tier, and handle upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations.
• Product improvement and analytics — to analyse usage patterns, improve our AI-generated intelligence, and enhance the overall user experience.

We rely on the following trusted third-party services to operate Scout Gap:

• Account data — retained while your subscription is active and for 30 days following cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted.
• Payment records — retained as required under Australian tax law (currently up to five years) for compliance and audit purposes.
• Usage analytics — anonymised after 12 months. Once anonymised, this data cannot be linked back to your account.
